Courses at your station

For cooks and bar staff on a station display.

#How a course reaches you

The waiter fires each course. It arrives as a ticket led by its course and table - Course 2 · Table 4 - with minutes since firing. Drinks and anything sent straight away have no course number.

Each ticket shows only your station's items. If kitchen and bar both make part of Course 2, each gets its own ticket.

#Coming up

Ordered but unfired courses sit under Coming up along the bottom:

• Held - waiting for the waiter.
• Scheduled - counting down to fire by itself.

Ready early, or told to go? Tap Fire now and it moves into your live tickets.

#Ready, then Bump

1. Ready when the plates are up. The ticket turns amber, then red after 5 minutes waiting at the pass.
2. Bump when they've gone.

Ready tells the floor. Once every station on the course has tapped Ready, the devices covering that table get a Course ready alert. Your screen stays quiet.

Bump counts as delivered. Every line your station made for that course is marked ✓ Delivered on the table. Another station's plates wait for its own bump.

#Courses shared with another station

Pills on your ticket show each other station's name, its usual prep time while working (e.g. ~12m), and a ✓ once it's Ready. The floor hears "ready" only when the last station taps it.

#Changes after a course is fired

• Supplement - extra items on a separate ticket with a yellow SUPPLEMENT pill.
• Refire - a plate to remake, with a red REFIRE badge, the reason and any note. Ready and Bump as usual.
• Voided - a cancelled item, as a dark red Voided card. Tap Acknowledge to clear it.
